Upload images without putting them in the Image Gallery

The vast majority of images used on our forum are only used once and therefore do not need to be kept in a gallery.  It would be great if we could choose to embed the image without putting it in the user's gallery.

Because most images are used only once, with the current image gallery implementation I will need to increase the 1000 image limit in the gallery in about one year.  If not every image had to be saved in the gallery, I would not have this problem. 

Of course, you can still embed images the old way (attach to post, then edit and hyperlink the image), but it was not intuitive for many forum users.

Hey Laura, Thanks for the idea. We add images to a user's gallery as they upload in order to keep track of images used by a user in the community. Although these images are mostly used only once, apart from the image limit issue, it does not hurt to have them there. Maybe automatically grouping images used in posts into a set makes sense.
