There are so many great reports in Lithium, so it would be great to add the ability to schedule certain reports to be generated and emailed to me (or any designated user, for that matter) at X interveral. The same reports would be available, but there would have to be additional components like reoccurence pattern (e.g. daily, weekly, monthly, annually), reoccurrence pattern (e.g. what days of the week of which weeks...like every third Thursday of a month), start date, end date, report format (e.g. Excel, CSV), and recipients.
Use Cases:
Some managers require their team members to log into the forum to read content and/or help answer questions, and I would like to be able to set up scheduled reports to send this information to them every week or every month.
Every week I have to report on certain #'s in terms of forum traffic, and it would be nice to have these numbers sent to me once a week or sent to my manager when I'm out of the office.

In my opinion, this is one of the single biggest improvements we could make to our software (not just our metrics). I'm surprised that there are not more Kudos for your idea at the moment, but I got your back Roxy. heheh.
Kudo!

Hi Roxy,
You are in luck, we are working on the first phase of automated reports out of our metrics system. Our current plan is as follows: as customers upgrade to the 9.0 platform these reports will be generated every sunday night reporting the prior week's activity.
(I'll post a sample report to the community in the next few days)
Of course a future phase would be to have you select the metrics to report and the schedule to receive those metrics. I can't give a timeframe just yet, however.
Keep the feedback rolling!
Neil
