Reporting activity per board for roles

I'm not sure if this is covered in this suggestion, but a need that I have that is not addressed with the reporting interface is the ability to report on activity for a particular board for a particular role.  I can either report on a role community wide, or report on a board for all users.  I often need some additional correlation that is impossible to get.

Hi Laura, Thanks for the idea. Could you please provide some scenarios where you need to report on activity for a particular board for a particular role?

Sure - We have certain groups of employees that use the Forums and post throughout the community including in private boards.  I often want to find out about the employee's performance on a particular board by doing a role report to check Kudos, posts, solutions, etc. but I can only do a role report for the entire community as far as I know.  Those employees post throughout the community, so there is no way to find out their participation on the board in question.

Thanks for sharing some of the user scenarios around this request Laura. I can certainly see how useful this can be. A lot of our efforts this year are going to be focused on analytics around community content and users form a big chunk of it. Although, I cannot promise at this point that we will implement this very idea, a lot is in the works to analyze user behavior that generates interesting reports scoped at different levels in the community.
