Non-Approved images uploaded to gallery should be available to insert into posts through the Editor

How many of you mods out there have noticed in your "Image Console" for approving images that many times users will submit an image twice? You know what they're doing, right?

1) Upload image to your gallery

2) Create a post

3) Attempt to insert image from gallery

4) The image I uploaded in step 1 isn't there! (Mod hasn't approved yet)

5) Upload image AGAIN through editor

6) To Mods - looks like image is uploaded twice, once to gallery, second to gallery and post

What we're talking about is that brief period of time between when a user uploads an image to his gallery, and a Moderator approves the image. During that time, the image isn't available for the user in the Editor Image Upload area. Since users will typically upload to gallery then post immediately using that image, it would be great if during that period the image would be available for the user to upload into a post. Just like the images that he uploads to his gallery through the Editor, it would show as Pending still, but it would be available for him to add to the post through the editor.

Liquidsasquatch, that's a good idea but I do see some issues with it. Unless there is a decent time period (probably configurable) between the image upload time and the posting time, you may end up running into issues where there are a bunch of images awaiting moderation, images that are rejected. In the case where images are rejected, it would just leave a blank space in the post, which would be odd too. Setting a time limit between an image upload to it being used in a post is reasonable I think.
