Some of our users have asked that weblinks posted in messages are more clearly displayed i.e. that they show up in bold with an underline. Is there a way to turn this display feature on within the Admin?
If you are on version 8 of the Lithium platform, go into your Community Admin > General Settings > Layout settings and check "Turn on Auto-Linking in Messages".
The option is not in current versions of the application (version 9), but it is most likely turned on by defaut. If you are on Version 9 of the Lithium application and it is not turned on, you may try to control it via CSS, or better yet, enter it as a request in Litho-Case.
If you're still having problems with the paths I've listed above contact your CSM to have it changed out.
Robbie28,
Autolinking is cool, but another way that we use links is to ascribe link values via the text editor to words in the post. For example, check out Forrester's Groundswell blog - they have promised to post the Groundswell award winners there.
This way, I can bold the text, make the text any size or color I want to really draw attention to it. I realize you already know about this function and were specifically looking for an automatic feature/setting, but I just thought I share this for consideration too...
Best regards,
Mark
Nice little feature. Easy to do and makes the link stand out that much more.
Plus, it can be what you want. Best part is that it doesn't have to be:
http://blah blah blah/blah blah blah/blah blah blah.
It can be
first link I could think of....I love ping pong ![]()

Johnny, you really are a kindred spirit. There are some serious ping-pong maniacs at Lithium. We have two tables set up in our game room. A number of employees even have a coach come by tutor them.
Jake,
there is quite a bit of awesome in what you just said.
Have a table here also. I think it keeps quite a few of us sane. ![]()
Plus, it's the only excercise some of us get !
